Now that you’re all set up, your countdown campaign is ready to go!
But first, to recap:
FOR EVERGREEN COUNTDOWNS:
- You will need to trigger the Countdown Hero for each of your subscribers first.
- Then, send your subscribers to your special offer pages using the Page Link (Redirect URL’s) (and not your normal page links)
- When the Countdown Hero expires for each of your subscribers, they will be automatically redirected to your Expiry page (unless you have switch that setting off)
IMPORTANT: We’d recommend sending yourself through your full funnel/ campaign BEFORE you send a single subscriber through it. That way you can experience exactly what they will experience as they go through the campaign.
(Plus, it’s so much easier to troubleshoot things without you having an inbox full of panicked subscribers!)

Using the ‘Other Platform’ Integration
If you’re using the ‘Other Platform’ integration, you’ll notice that some of your links have a section in red font that reads ‘[REPLACE_WITH_EMAIL_MERGE_CODE]’
You will need to replace that entire block with the personalisation code for the email field inside your email platform.
That way, your email marketing platform will be able to merge in your subscribers email address onto the end of the Countdown Hero link and Countdown Hero can then work its magic for your subscribers.
(If you're not sure what this is, you can either Google search for it, or reach out to the support team of your email platform)
FOR FIXED DATE & TIME COUNTDOWNS:
- You can send your subscribers (and any cold traffic from ads or social media) to your page as normal.
- When the specific date and time is reached, your Countdown Hero will expire and redirect all of your page traffic to your Expiry page (unless you have switch that setting off)
And it’s as simple as that.
Now you can go ahead and reap your sales rewards, thanks to the magic of your urgency-driven Countdown Hero campaign!
