So, you've set up your Countdown Hero campaign and you're ready to test it.

The best (and most accurate) way to test your CDH campaign is by going through your full funnel/campaign as if you were one of your subscribers.

This means opting-in, triggering your timer and clicking your email links - that way you'll see EXACTLY what they're going to see based on your setup, so that you can make any tweaks and be confident that Countdown Hero is working for you.

If you need to run multiple tests...

We typically recommend that you use a fresh new email address if you need to run a second test for your campaign, but you may find that you can delete your email address from the 'Contacts' view of that timer. That will free up your email address to retrigger the timer and repeat the testing.

Again, we find it better to use a new email for this to get the most accurate results - even if you use the '+' technique for this. In case you're not familiar with that...

If you add a '+' before the @ symbol in your email address, it will be treated as a new email address, but all emails will be directed to your normal account.

For example, to test your CDH campaign you could take this:

aidan@test.com

... and turn it into this, for testing:

aidan+cdhtest1@test.com

^^ That way you can keep testing your timer, without needing an entirely new email address each time.
